Classic Strawberry Preserve Pancakes

Ingredients
- • 1 cup all-purpose flour
- • 2 tablespoons sugar
- • 1 teaspoon baking powder
- • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- • A pinch of salt
- • 3/4 cup buttermilk
- • 1 large egg
- • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- • 2 tablespoons Pure Harvest Classic Strawberry Preserve (plus more for topping)
- • Maple syrup and fresh strawberries (optional garnish)
Method
1. Mix Batter
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg and melted butter. Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until combined.
2. Cook Pancakes
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (for about 2 minutes), then flip and cook for another minute.
3. Assemble
Stack pancakes and spread Pure Harvest Classic Strawberry Preserve between layers. Top with more preserve, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
